Join NCT’s Saturday Workshops: Act, Sing & Dance
What happens when imagination meets the spotlight—and dives beneath the waves? This season, NCT’s hands-on theatre education workshops plunge young learners aged 7–17 into an oceanic adventure, exploring acting, singing, and dance through iconic songs and scenes from Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, Moana, Treasure Island, and more. Led by credentialed teachers in Johannesburg’s most dynamic theatrical space, these Saturday sessions transform nervous first-timers into confident performers as they master “Part of Your World,” navigate “Beyond the Reef,” and discover the courage to step into the light and claim the stage as their own.
New! Join NCT’s Storytime Workshop with Abby
Where does a story begin? Beneath the waves, where mermaids sing and brave fish journey home. NCT’s Storytime with Abby invites our youngest learners aged 5–7 to dive into ocean adventures through story circles, character creation, and interactive play inspired by The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, Moana, and more. Through eight weeks of guided storytelling set in underwater worlds, early readers develop literacy skills, emotional intelligence, and creative expression—learning to organize their thoughts into narratives, solve problems alongside sea creatures, and express emotions through characters who explore, discover, and find their way home.
